About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Flex-N-Gate Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs of all company machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Equipment Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair various types of equipment, including pumps, air handling systems, and refrigeration units.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance data.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and management, to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Five years of experience in a mechanical or electrical trade, or equivalent industrial repair/maintenance experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Highly motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team; ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions; ability to multi-task and establish priorities; ability to independently seek out and suggest downtime reduction activities and projects.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and tools; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
