Job Summary

The Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to all customers in our Marine Corps Exchange stores. You will be the face of our organization, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Meet all personal and department sales goals, working closely with Sales and Experience Managers to execute corporate service programs, promotions, and events.
  • Assist customers with location, selection, and purchase of merchandise, emphasizing courtesy and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Responsible for merchandising, display, and appearance of assigned areas, ensuring that all items are properly marked and merchandise is properly checked and secured.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and dusting fixtures and merchandise, and sort and replenish merchandise as needed.
  • Understand and articulate all MCX value stories, programs, and promotions, recognizing the core values and mission of the Marine Corps Exchange.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a customer and sales-focused environment, with cash handling, basic math, and register experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand operating standards and procedures for service, service recovery, sales, and store brand, and work within the position to execute these standards properly.
  • Ability to work in a high-performance atmosphere with a commitment to service and sales goals, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering exceptional results.
