Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is seeking a highly skilled Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and sales support to customers in our Marine Corps Exchange stores. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class customer experience, meeting sales goals, and executing corporate service programs and promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and sales support to customers in our Marine Corps Exchange stores.
- Meet sales goals and assist in the execution of corporate service programs and promotions.
- Complete sales and return transactions using the point of sale system.
- Assist and serve customers with location, selection, and purchase of merchandise with an emphasis on courtesy.
- Responsible for merchandising, display, and appearance of assigned areas.
- Ensure items are properly marked, checked, and inventoried.
- Assist in inventories, ensures proper accountability and security of assigned areas.
- May monitor fitting rooms and perform general housekeeping duties.
- At least 1 year experience working in a customer and sales-focused environment is preferred.
- Cash handling, basic math, and register experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and understand operating standards and procedures for service, service recovery, sales, and store brand.
- Ability to work in a high-performance atmosphere with commitment to service and sales goals.
- Attention to detail is required.
