Position Overview: We are in search of a skilled and dedicated MEP Superintendent to lead and manage MEP installations across our commercial projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in MEP systems, an acute attention to detail, and a strong dedication to achieving project excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Direct and oversee MEP installations on commercial projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and superior quality standards.
  • Team Coordination: Supervise and manage the activities of MEP teams, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards.
  • Safety Oversight: Implement safety protocols and maintain a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with general contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address any challenges or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily logs, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Client Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as an MEP Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their installations.
  • A proven history of effectively managing MEP components of commercial construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
