Job Overview

Position Summary:
The Commercial Plumbing Service Specialist plays a crucial role in diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues encountered during service calls. This position involves completing necessary service documentation and capturing photographic evidence of work performed. Effective communication with clients before and after service is essential to ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize smartphones and tablets to document job details, including before and after images, service notes, and estimates.
  • Assemble and install various plumbing components such as valves and fittings.
  • Conduct installation, repair, and maintenance of sinks and toilets.
  • Manage installation, repair, and upkeep of both gas and electric water heaters.
  • Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of water coolers and fountains.
  • Knowledge of lift station maintenance and repair is advantageous.
  • Experience with hydro jetting and video inspection techniques is beneficial.
  • Troubleshoot boiler control systems and perform electrical control repairs as needed.
  • Employ a multi-volt meter for diagnosing plumbing components effectively.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Commercial Plumbing Service Specialist position is a proactive and skilled technician with a strong problem-solving ability. Candidates should possess extensive knowledge and expertise in plumbing services, ensuring a high standard of customer care.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in servicing, maintaining, and installing commercial plumbing systems.
  • Valid Plumbing Certification and Licensing.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in light carpentry and/or basic electrical work is a plus.
  • Must pass background checks, drug screening, and DMV checks.
  • Willingness to work on-call and overtime as necessary.
  • Ability to operate a Cable Machine (e.g., Rigid K-60).
  • Possession of personal journeyman hand tools for plumbing repairs.
