We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service to children and their families in Thomasville, GA. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and their families, managing front desk operations efficiently while ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks with professionalism and attention to detail. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing front desk check-in, copays, insurance eligibilities, HIPAA compliance, and patient demographics.
  • Confirming appointments and addressing balances and/or insurance issues.
  • Pulling immunizations from Grits and finding duplicates as needed.
  • Answering phone calls and transferring calls appropriately.
  • Taking patient messages for triage or referrals, or sending mail messages as needed.
  • Requesting medications/forms by patient message and following protocol for sports physicals.
  • Printing excuses for patients and/or parents following office guidelines.
  • Pulling questions for next day/week appointments, entering recall dates, or making next check-up appointments.
  • Scheduling rechecks, check-ups, and consults following office protocols.
  • Requesting medical records from hospitals/doctor offices as needed.
  • Scanning/indexing paperwork into charts.

We offer a competitive salary of $12.00 - $14.00 per hour, with benefits that include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
