Position Overview:

We are looking for a meticulous and well-organized Accounting Specialist to become a vital part of our finance department. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of accounting responsibilities, including data entry, reconciliation, inventory oversight, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Entry: Precisely input financial information into the accounting software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage inventory levels, process related transactions, and keep accurate inventory records.
  • Cash Management: Verify daily cash balances, conduct cash reconciliations, and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Accounts Receivable: Manage customer invoicing, track payments, and oversee outstanding receivable accounts.
  • Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and maintain precise accounts payable records.
  • Invoicing: Create and dispatch invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing various financial reports and summaries for management evaluation.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting capacity, ideally in a retail setting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
