Position Overview:
We are seeking a committed facilities maintenance custodian to uphold the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appeal of the City of Durango's facilities and their surroundings. In this role, you will undertake a range of custodial responsibilities aimed at fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute custodial tasks in designated buildings, including vacuuming, carpet shampooing, and restroom sanitation
  • Identify and report maintenance concerns
  • Assist in minor repairs
  • Interact positively with the public
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Minimum of three months experience in custodial or building maintenance
  • Familiarity with cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment
