We are in search of an Operations Assistant to become a vital member of our team, collaborating closely with the General Manager and the Maritime Services Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing vessel schedules, communicating with clients, facilitating crew transitions, and performing a range of administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate vessel itineraries while ensuring effective communication with clients.
- Oversee the timely transportation of personnel and supplies to vessels.
- Maintain continuous dialogue with vessel officers and assist in documentation processes.
- Support the recruitment process and prepare necessary reports as required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a chauffeur's endorsement.
- TWIC Card and completion of high school education or equivalent.
- Capability to lift packages weighing at least 40 lbs.
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and after-hours as needed.
This position typically involves a 40-hour work week with some flexibility. The work setting includes office tasks, client interactions, and outdoor industrial environments.
Physical RequirementsThe role necessitates sitting, typing, climbing ladders, and traversing uneven surfaces.
