Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality care to our residents. As an LPN, you will utilize your clinical expertise to ensure that all residents receive efficient and effective care.

What You'll DoProvide Care
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support residents with medication, including taking medication, opening containers, and reading medication labels
  • Reposition residents in bed and escort them around the community
  • Provide toileting and incontinent care
  • Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse
Communicate
  • Observe and report on residents' health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively
  • Detail daily reports to the Nurse or designated charge person at the end of the shift
  • Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones
  • Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor
What You'll BringExperience & Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Associates degree or higher, focused on advancement into medical services, or similar, preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification desired (unless required by the State)
  • Valid, unrestricted LPN certification or State/Local equivalent required
Engagement
  • Working experience alone, on a team, and on projects start to finish
  • Strong emotional intelligence and listening skills
  • Dedication to the medical field, especially towards working with residents
