Comprehensive Speech Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team at Soliant.
Job SummaryThis role requires the provision of comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and home environments.
- Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language goals and progress.
- Educate and train school staff, parents, and caregivers on strategies to support students' communication skills.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes, reports, and billing information.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as school district policies.
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program is required.
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist issued by the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board is mandatory.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is also required.
- An Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Licensure: Pupil Services License in Speech-Language Pathology is necessary.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not necessary.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
- A background check will be conducted as required by the Ohio Department of Education and the school district.
Estimated salary for this position is around $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
