Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code scripts and templates using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet, ensuring resource automation and consistency.
  • Proficient with Git and Jenkins to set up and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CICD practices, version control, and branching, as well as DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of network design, security, and best practices.
  • Experience in analysis and redesign of existing infrastructure systems and services.
  • Ability to debug and solve problems independently.
  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud experience in terms of IAC design and build.
  • Indepth knowledge of VMware services, VMware vCenter, vSphere, and VSAN in terms of design, architecting, and build. Certification is an added advantage.
  • Should possess strong expertise in vSphere, ESXI, VCenter Management.
  • Design and engineer high-availability architectures in VMware DRS cluster environments.
  • Perform P2V, VMotion, VMware virtual center, vSphere, and SSO configurations.
  • Proficiency in Windows or Linux Server Administration and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge in Storage and networking.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, PowerCli, and Shell scripting.
  • Demonstrate TCP/IP knowledge with a strong foundation in LAN technologies, network switching, routing, and DNS.
  • Experience in analysis and redesign of existing infrastructure systems and services.
  • Ability to work with a team as a team player and support system reliability, availability, scale, and performance activities.
  • Hands-on experience in a complex architectural environment.
  • Good communication and customer focus, with a strong understanding of customer requirements.
  • Has worked in 24/7 operations environment.
  • Has exposure to global client-facing roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • ITIL knowledge and skills to work and manage ITSM-related tasks on ticketing tools such as ServiceNow.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a good temperament.
  • Strong ability to manage stressful situations and provide customer-facing support in a professional manner.
  • Strong English language communication skills, both written and spoken, to provide guidelines, instructions, status updates, and issue resolution.
  • Proactive attitude in identifying process improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to work with people remotely using technology tools, email, instant messaging, web conferencing, etc.
  • Proactivity to improve processes and eliminate barriers.
