Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Design Lead to join our team at Apple. As a key member of our Custom Silicon Management Group, you will be responsible for driving and leading technical engagements between Apple and silicon suppliers to develop and productize the next generation of custom silicon solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Platform Architecture and Systems teams to establish silicon requirements and deliver high-quality, on-time silicon.
  • Work with silicon vendors to ensure innovative design practices, methodologies, and processes are in place to produce quality results.
  • Develop next-generation architectures and circuit designs, and lead the development of new process technologies.
  • Ensure designs are properly verified, validated, and tested for long-term reliability.
  • Lead schedules and support multi-functional engineering efforts.
Requirements
  • BS+10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience leading analog and mixed-signal silicon for complex system designs.
  • Solid understanding of analog design fundamentals, design tools, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated industry-leading design expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience taking projects from concept to mass production.
  • Design knowledge of board-level considerations, including component selection, PCB layout, packaging technologies, and thermal analysis.
  • Design knowledge of IC process technologies, reliability design rules, ESD, and latch-up testing.
  • Knowledge about industrial standards and practices in appropriate technologies.
