Senior Estimator, BOND Civil

The Senior Estimator provides leadership and supervision to the estimating team, ensuring that all estimating efforts align with the company's strategic goals. This role involves collaborating with corporate and project management to determine project opportunities, strategies, and techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in the full estimating lifecycle, from take-off to bid review, and possess excellent organizational, supervisory, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in determining project opportunities and strategies
• Lead the estimating team in developing accurate and complete estimate packages
• Participate in presentations to corporate management and clients
• Provide technical assistance in negotiating contracts and change orders
• Manage department functions, including operating budgets, staffing, and performance evaluations
Requirements:
• B.S. in civil engineering or equivalent experience
• Established relationships with vendors and subcontractors in the NJ, NYC, and CT region
• Knowledge of corporate objectives, estimating strategies, and techniques
• Ability to travel to NJ, NYC, and CT as needed
• Fluency in HCSS Heavy Bid Software
