Job Overview

Cesna is seeking a highly skilled Equity Portfolio Manager to oversee the management of our equity-based passive portfolios. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing equity-based passive portfolios and derivatives, along with a strong ability to analyze financial markets and implement effective strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Equity Portfolios: Oversee equity-based passive portfolios, focusing on ETFs and related derivatives, to ensure performance aligns with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Strategy Development: Formulate and implement portfolio strategies, incorporating both equity positions and derivatives, to continuously analyze financial data, market trends, and investment opportunities.
  • Trade Execution: Execute trades in line with portfolio strategies, while managing associated risks, to ensure timely and accurate trade execution within the framework of best practices.
  • Risk Management: Oversee risk exposure, ensuring that all portfolio activities comply with internal risk controls and industry regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all portfolio management practices adhere to federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Regularly prepare performance reports, provide insights on market conditions, and deliver strategic recommendations to senior management.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with research, trading, risk management, and other internal teams on cross-functional projects aimed at improving portfolio performance and risk oversight.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in equity portfolio management, derivatives, or a related field, with experience managing passive equity-based ETFs highly preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Korean (both written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate with Korean-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Market Expertise: Strong understanding of financial markets, market trends, and investment strategies, particularly in equities and derivatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities, with the capacity to assess data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work independently when required.
  • Legal Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
