Position Overview:


Leverage your technical, communication, and product expertise to create sales quotations for custom equipment orders and effectively communicate with clients.

You will develop product designs, generate sales proposals, and address customer inquiries. Collaborate with the sales team to manage client accounts and work alongside the engineering team to implement design enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare proposals and sales drawings.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding all project-related matters, including project management.

- Support sales personnel in managing smaller customer accounts and identifying the optimal product solutions based on client needs.

- Collaborate with engineering to implement design modifications aimed at performance enhancement and cost efficiency.
- Oversee contractual adjustments throughout projects to ensure profitability.
- Ensure the accuracy of project component lists.
- Provide technical assistance and information to the sales team and customers.
- Prepare accurate pricing quotations for projects by reviewing specifications and gathering necessary documentation.
- Collect engineering data relevant to specific products.
- Analyze engineering drawings and retrieve information to finalize designs or layouts.
- Familiarize yourself with in-house engineering design and selection software.

Engage with Nortek Air Solutions manufacturing software for job data input and production monitoring.

Travel may be required, up to 15%.
Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trends.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information both internally and externally.

- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

- Independent judgment and analytical skills to resolve non-standard issues using prior experience and knowledge of company policies.


Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD / 3D applications.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (DAX) or similar MRP/ERP systems.

- Knowledgeable in reviewing blueprints and technical documents, with the ability to interpret technical details from prints and drawings.
