Position Overview: What We Seek in Our Investment Fund Advisor
Russell Tobin & Associates is currently in search of a Mutual Funds Specialist to join our esteemed client’s team.
Job Title: Investment Fund Advisor
Compensation: $26/hr. to $28.40/hr. based on experience
Training Details:
- Full-time on-site training for 5 days a week (approximately 8 weeks)
- Training hours: 8AM – 4:30PM or 5PM (includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch)
- Transition to Hybrid Work Model Post-Training (3 Days On-Site Weekly)
Shift Examples:
- 8AM-4:30PM
- 9:30AM-6PM
- 10:30AM-7PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the processing of new accounts, transactions, and account maintenance.
- Handle change requests efficiently to meet critical deadlines.
- Address inquiries from current and prospective shareholders via phone, providing essential investment company information.
- Initiate financial transactions and adjustments as per departmental guidelines.
- Calculate and execute precise share trades, determine dividend distributions, and reconcile account balances.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in gathering, interpreting, and applying diverse client and regulatory information.
- Able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; proficient in mathematics and computer applications.
- Exceptional customer service abilities.
Additional Required Skills:
- Experience in customer service roles.
- Background in financial investments is advantageous.
- Computer proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Edge (minimum 2-3 years of entry-level experience).
- Familiarity with Adobe PDF (entry-intermediate level experience).
Desirable Skills/Experience (not mandatory):
- Knowledge of TA2000 software.
- Experience with AWD (Imaging Program).
