Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Ultrasound/Mammography Department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of Ultrasound and Mammography Technologists
- Ensure effective workflow management and staffing requirements
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure optimal patient care
- Perform quality assurance and quality control on applicable equipment
- Train and coach new staff members rotating through the department
- Participate in human resources management functions, including selection, orientation, and performance appraisal
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Ultrasound and/or Mammography Technology
- Minimum of four years' experience as an Ultrasound and/or Mammography Technologist
- Registered by ARDMS, CCI, and/or ARRT in Ultrasound and/or Mammography
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in the use of CR, DDR, and PACS
