Ultrasound Supervisor

About the Role

St. John's Riverside Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ultrasound Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Ultrasound and Mammography departments, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the Ultrasound and Mammography technologists, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality patient care and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure accurate and reliable imaging results.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Ultrasound and/or Mammography Technology.
• Minimum of four years' experience as an Ultrasound and/or Mammography Technologist.
• Registered by ARDMS, CCI, and/or ARRT in Ultrasound and/or Mammography.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
