Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize production capacity.
- Collaborate with production, operations, and purchasing departments to ensure a seamless flow of materials and resources.
- Analyze production specifications, identify capacity constraints, and provide solutions to meet production goals.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to changes in customer requirements or production challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of production data and provide regular updates to management.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials and manage inventory levels effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or supply chain management or engineering.
- Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in production planning or scheduling within the heavy industrial metals manufacturing industry.
- Lean or Six Sigma training a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in scheduling software, inventory management, and production planning tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to work effectively with various teams.
- Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience with ERP/MRP systems are advantageous.
Compensation: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
