Job Description:
As a Controls Engineer at Actalent, you will design and develop control panels for various applications, ensuring compliance with electrical code and UL standards, specifically UL508a. You will select appropriate electrical components, such as switches, relays, and sensors, based on system requirements and specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating these components into larger systems for seamless operation and compatibility. You will also choose suitable gauges, relays, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and circuits for specific applications.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop control panels for various applications
• Ensure compliance with electrical code and UL standards, specifically UL508a
• Select appropriate electrical components based on system requirements and specifications
• Integrate components into larger systems for seamless operation and compatibility
• Choose suitable gauges, relays, VFDs, and circuits for specific applications
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in Bristol, Connecticut. You will work in a mix of manufacturing floor and desk environments.
