Game Producer Job Description

Aquent is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Game Producer to join our team. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for partnering with multiple disciplines to create compelling game experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers, artists, producers, and developers to drive game development forward.
  • Facilitate team meetings, take notes, and ensure accountability for action items and decisions.
  • Manage daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint rituals to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee sprint planning, bug triaging, and backlog management to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain the team's internal communication site to keep everyone informed.
  • Prepare and distribute team status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage dependencies between internal and external partners to clarify requirements, track work, and mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate feedback loops through rapid iteration cycles, scheduling playtests, logging issues, and following up on resolutions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in game development.
  • Proficiency with version control and bug tracking tools.
  • Proficiency with productivity software tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SCRUM.
  • Interest in the game's franchise.

Compensation:

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $34.30 to $38.12 an hour, based on factors such as education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
