Engineering Program Manager, Games, Apple Services Engineering

Job Summary As a Senior Program Manager on the Apple Services Engineering team, you will lead the development of innovative end-to-end solutions for the App Store's most popular category, Games. You will work closely with our engineering teams to build experiences that impact millions of users worldwide. **Key Responsibilities** * Drive the development of Game Center, which offers our customers a single gaming identity across Apple platforms, and GameKit, which enables developers to integrate features like leaderboards, achievements, and multiplayer consistently in their games. * Develop and execute strategies to drive the growth of the App Store's games category, working closely with cross-functional teams to plan, schedule, build, and ship the next wave of features supporting App Store customers and game developers across Apple's platforms. * Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and test new features and products, ensuring they meet Apple's high standards for quality and user experience. * Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs. **Requirements** * 5+ years of technical program management experience in software development involving complex client/server architecture. * Strong technical proficiency in software architecture and development. * Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and logical structuring abilities with clear ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans. * Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization. * Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings). **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with iOS app development on UI features with design team. * Experience in game development or other games industry background. * Bonus points for past programming experience. **Education** * BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical field or at least 5+ years of comparable experience. **What We Offer** * Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition. * Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
