Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist with Soliant Health, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's needs and goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Education and Support: Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and swallowing safety measures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility to obtain CCC.
  • Licensure: New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required, IEP experience preferred, and experience with AAC devices.
