About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Innovations in Nutrition + Wellness. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the facilities and sanitation team, contractors, vendors, installers, and repairers to meet quality standards, production goals, and equipment maintenance.
  • Sanitation and Quality Assurance: Maintain sanitation records and log-books for GMP compliance, conduct internal audits of the facility to identify potential compliance issues, and maintain facilities and grounds in a sanitary and esthetically pleasing condition.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Identify, repair, or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment components, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation such as log books, work orders, and calibration records.
  • Inventory Management: Manage departments' parts inventory and request or order materials as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously look for opportunities to improve current processes and procedures.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Prefer 10 years of general maintenance experience.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read and comprehend detailed instructions, effectively communicate concepts in conversation in English.
  • Skills and Abilities: Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, leadership, attention to detail, orientation to quality, deductive reasoning, problem sensitivity, problem solving, and skilled at decision making.
  • Knowledge and Certifications: Should have basic knowledge of building and construction for minor repairs, mechanical knowledge of tools, their uses, repair, and maintenance, and working knowledge of mathematics and their applications.
