Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist II to join our team at AdventHealth Murray. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory procedures in assigned areas, including analytical testing of blood and/or human biological specimens.

Our ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological sciences, and be licensed/certified in the state of Georgia. You will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing pre-analytical activities, including general and analytical equipment maintenance, inventory control, and specimen collection. You will also be responsible for performing analytical procedures, including testing and reporting results, and providing technical and support information to healthcare professionals.
