Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytical Chemist to join our Quality Control Laboratory team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry, with a proven track record of success in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for:

• Performing analytical testing: You will conduct various analytical tests, including moisture analysis, tapped/bulk density, particle size via sieving method, UV-Vis spectrometry, FTIR spectrometry, TOC, HPLC, and UPLC chromatography, among others. You will also perform multiple tasks in the proper sequence to effectively obtain analytical data.
  
• Ensuring compliance: You will ensure that all analytical testing is performed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) requirements.
  
• Communicating with stakeholders: You will communicate effectively with internal and external clients, vendors, and instrument technicians/repairmen to ensure seamless testing and quality control processes.
  
• Managing inventory: You will track and maintain inventory of chemicals, consumables, and glassware, and place orders with manager approval as needed.
  
• Documenting results: You will ensure that all testing results are accurately documented and submitted in a timely manner.
  
• Collaborating with team members: You will work closely with other team members to ensure that testing is conducted efficiently and effectively.
  

Requirements

To be successful as a Senior Analytical Chemist, you will need:

• 
  
• 4+ years of experience in quality control laboratory or a related field.
  
• BS in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
  
• Excellent communication and analytical skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and analyze complex data.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Access.
  
• Experience with analytical techniques, including HPLC, UV/Vis, FTIR, GC, ICP-MS, and UPLC.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
  

Estimate Salary/Hourly Range

$66,560.00 to $68,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
