Claims Specialist III

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Specialist III to join our team at Health Advocates in Chatsworth, CA.

Job Summary: This is a challenging and rewarding role, responsible for the timely follow-up and collection efforts of Personal Injury and Third Party Liability claims. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review accounts to determine the merit of collection efforts and make recommendations for further action.
  • Generate and distribute claims and letters, as well as assist with settlement negotiations.
  • Perform miscellaneous related duties as needed, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare, legal, or collection agency setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic office skills and computer literacy are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
