About Us:
As a prominent authority in space science exploration and spacecraft systems, we are dedicated to uncovering the mysteries of our solar system and beyond. By becoming part of our organization, you will receive an additional $500.00 in your initial paycheck (subject to applicable taxes).
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise to provide direct support to engineering teams engaged in innovative research.
- Maintain the laboratory infrastructure for our operations.
- Assist in the assembly, integration, and testing of space flight components.
Daily Tasks:
- Oversee and calibrate laboratory spaces and equipment, including procurement of lab supplies and tools while ensuring laboratory safety.
- Collaborate with contamination control engineers on the inspection and cleaning of incoming parts.
- Support engineering personnel by coordinating with facilities staff for maintenance, upgrades, and equipment logistics.
- Construct and evaluate harnesses and circuit boards, including specialized techniques.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience for candidates with an Associate's degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience for those without an Associate's degree. Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SolidWorks and LabView is preferred or the willingness to learn.
- Capability to operate standard laboratory testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools. Proficiency in building engineering-level cables and performing soldering tasks.
- Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and manuals; familiarity with lab testing equipment such as oscilloscopes and voltmeters.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.

This position is located in a specialized environment. Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria due to regulatory requirements.
Salary Information:
Compensation starts at $33.35 per hour.
