Overview

Inotiv, a leading contemporary drug discovery and development company, is seeking an experienced Senior Laboratory Animal Operations Manager to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure research technicians are proficient in approved SOPs and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of research technician training and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise and coordinate research technicians' daily activities, ensuring efficient workflow and effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with study coordinators to optimize technician schedules and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor and maintain safety, equipment, and hazardous waste verification logs, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Communicate study activity assignments and progress to direct reports, study coordinators, and principal investigators.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a science-related field (biology or equivalent) with 3 years of direct laboratory animal research experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or 8 years of experience without a college science degree.
  • Preferred experience in animal laboratory research, including dosing, in-life sample collections, and necropsy collections.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.

Benefits and Salary

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience, with a range of $68,000-$80,000 per year. In addition to a competitive salary, Inotiv offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage, short- and long-term disability, paid time off, paid parental leave, 401K, and more.
