**Job Title:** Behavioral Support Specialist

**Job Type:** Independent Contractor

**Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement specialized behavioral interventions using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) principles to address challenging behaviors.
  • Support the acquisition and maintenance of adaptive life skills to increase individuals' self-sufficiency.
  • Provide 1:1 services to individuals and assist with developing adaptive behaviors that replace or modify challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and promote consistent implementation of Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs) and Crisis Intervention Plans (CIPs).
  • Coach and assist Direct Support Professionals in implementing interventions stated in BSPs.
  • Maintain and update Functional Behavioral Analyses (FBAs), BSPs, and CIPs as needed.
  • Abide by all policy guidelines.
