This organization specializes in the production of large machinery for the aerospace industry and is looking for a dedicated professional to support their accounts receivable operations on a contract-to-hire basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Process customer payments and cash receipts on a daily basis while ensuring accurate aging reports are maintained.
- Investigate cash receipts, accurately code transactions, and address customer inquiries.
- Prepare, generate, and post billing invoices to reflect revenue accurately.
- Develop inter-company invoices as required.
- Engage with clients to resolve billing discrepancies and inquiries.
- Initiate collection efforts on overdue accounts.
- Notify relevant departments and management regarding customers with slow payment patterns.
- Establish and maintain customer records within the system.
- Respond promptly to credit requests.
- Complete vendor setup forms for prospective clients.
- Assess credit limits for new customers and periodically review existing customer credit limits.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain current sales tax exemption certificates from customers and manage the sales tax table in the system, including filing returns on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- A minimum of 3 years of comprehensive accounts receivable experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational skills.
