We are seeking an experienced medical professional for the Duke Dermatology Clinics. This role will involve working with attending physicians to collect and document patient data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order laboratory studies and professional consultations, and provide direct patient care services to general dermatology patients.


About the Role:



  • This position requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in dermatology as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), preferably with a Master's degree in Nursing or a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • The ideal candidate will be licensed in the state of North Carolina and certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and planning treatment for patients, as well as communicating patient information to supervising physicians and other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:



  • Treat patients in Duke Dermatology Clinics to assess, diagnose, plan treatment, set priorities and realistic outcomes, and evaluate the effectiveness and cost efficiency of patient care
  • Analyze clinical practice patterns to provide the best medical care and increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Communicate verbally and in writing all pertinent patient information to supervising MD, nursing staff, patient resource manager, home health agency, and other relevant healthcare providers

Salary Information:



  • The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per annum, based on industry standards and market research.
  • This figure may vary depending on qualifications, experience, and location.

Work Environment:



  • This full-time position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule, with flexibility to meet clinic needs.
  • Practice locations are available in Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill, NC.
