Job Overview: Fluid Dynamics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fluid Dynamics Specialist to join our team at Blue Origin. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing fluid system designs, ensuring that they are safe, efficient, and effective. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all systems meet our safety and performance standards.

About the Role:
This role requires a strong foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, and fluid mechanics. You will use your knowledge and skills to conduct trade studies for future GS2 fluid system upgrades and support the implementation of upgrades throughout their life cycle. You will also be responsible for designing, modeling, and analyzing complex thermal fluid subsystems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct trade studies for future GS2 fluid system upgrades
- Analyze and optimize fluid system designs
- Design, model, and analyze complex thermal fluid subsystems

Requirements:
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering
- Excellent GPA
- Demonstrated experience with CAD and engineering drawings
- Strong application of first principles thermodynamics, heat transfer, solid mechanics, and fluid mechanics
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $75,510-$105,714 per year.
