Quantity Surveyor Job Description

About the Role:

KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to support the Plaquemines project, a multi-billion-dollar Liquid Natural Gas export facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed within budget and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and evaluate installed quantities against plan to monitor construction progress.
  • Ensure contract compliance and consolidate information for the project team.
  • Support weekly and monthly project progress meetings.
  • Lead the input of figures and supporting narrative for the monthly Project Management Review (PMR) meeting.
  • Prepare progress audit queries for the Auditor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
