Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

KBR's Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the Plaquemines project, a multi-billion-dollar Liquid Natural Gas export facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring and evaluating installed quantities against plan, ensuring projects are completed within budget and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor construction progress by measuring and evaluating installed quantities against the plan
  • Ensure contract compliance and consolidate and coordinate that information to the project team
  • Support the weekly and monthly project progress meetings
  • Lead the input of figures and supporting narrative for the monthly Project Management Review (PMR) meeting
  • Prepare any defined progress audit queries for the Auditor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
