Job Summary:

Under the supervision of department leadership, the Senior Specialist Donor CDL Specialist will proficiently perform phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products. This role will interact with donors and coordinators to provide a high level of customer service while delivering an excellent donation experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy collection of whole blood and apheresis products with proficiency.
  • Interact with donors and coordinators to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of the customer's perspective.
  • Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
  • Contribute positively to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Responsible for driving the mobile drive vehicle and transporting the mobile staff in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

This role is subject to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and is designated as a DOT safety-sensitive position. The successful candidate will be required to meet the requirements of 49 CFR Part 40 (drug and alcohol testing) and Part 391 (physical health, professional experience, and motor vehicle record).
