Responsibilities:
  • Administer and monitor medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners
  • Perform basic medical treatments and provide health information to patients
  • Observe patients and complete focused assessments to ensure their well-being
  • Provide report to Registered Nurses to ensure continuity of care
  • Interact respectfully with patients while maintaining appropriate boundaries
Requirements:
  • Possess or be eligible for licensure as a Practical Nurse in Minnesota
  • Future Practical Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-LPN are encouraged to apply
  • Preferred candidates will have experience working in a mental health setting and a variety of experiences working effectively with others from different backgrounds and cultures
