Position: Child Care Provider – Sunday
Location: The Riverside Church
Reporting To: Minister of Children & Families
Department: Children & Families
Work Schedule: Sundays, 10:15 AM to 12:45 PM
Compensation: $25 per hour
Position Summary:
The Child Care Provider is responsible for delivering reliable, nurturing, and stimulating care to children aged 0-3 years within a safe and clean environment. This role involves working closely under the guidance of the Minister of Children & Families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety and child protection policies established by the organization.
- Complete necessary training, including CPR certification.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as songs, stories, and crafts while ensuring a positive and safe atmosphere.
- Provide essential care, including feeding, diaper changes, and ensuring a secure environment for children during their time in care.
- Maintain a clean and safe nursery environment, ensuring all cleaning supplies and medications are stored securely.
- Report any concerns regarding children or fellow staff members to the Minister of Children & Families.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops as directed.
- Be available to work on holidays and during peak times as needed.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

- Possess a valid ID and reliable transportation.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience caring for young children and the ability to adapt to various personalities.
