About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Consultant to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our customer success team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our restaurant customers, providing expert guidance on restaurant operations, and driving business growth through the implementation of value-added services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute customized business assessment reports to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with customers to create and implement action plans, setting clear targets and timelines to achieve short- and long-term goals.
  • Champion the use of advanced tools and services, such as POS integration, inventory management, and data analytics, to enhance US Foods sales and customer savings.
  • Educate field sales teams on value-added programs and provide guidance on how to support customers in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Restaurant Marketing Consultant, Chef/Food Fanatics, and Specialists, to deliver subject-matter-expertise and drive business results.
  • Participate in the Value Added Services council, staying up-to-date on the latest offerings and sharing best practices, competitive intelligence, and local activities.
  • Travel may be required for trainings, meetings, or other company events.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of restaurant operations experience, with a strong understanding of both back-of-the-house and front-of-the-house operations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
