Job Summary

Axient LLC is seeking a highly skilled Threat Missile Analysis Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Group (SEG). As a key member of our team, you will provide technical expertise and analysis to support various projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis and visualization to inform technical decisions
  • Respond to quick reaction requests for analysis and provide timely results
  • Review engineering briefs and prepare analyses for presentation to customers
  • Present analysis within the context of customer needs and requirements

Requirements

  • Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance at the Secret level
  • Eligibility for cleared access requires US citizenship
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 0-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey abstract concepts to technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated evidence of a Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience presenting at technical reviews using Microsoft Office, Open Office, or LaTeX software
  • Programming experience and scripting in a Linux environment
  • Knowledge of aerospace/defense systems technology domains
  • Experience with cruise and/or ballistic missile defense programs
