Position Overview:

The Specialty Ambulatory Nurse Clinician is a registered nurse with advanced knowledge dedicated to patient care and education. This role involves conducting thorough assessments of the patient demographic, implementing necessary interventions, and leveraging available resources in collaboration with the healthcare team. The nurse may also provide educational programs for nursing staff, patients, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients.
  • Develop and implement care plans in conjunction with the healthcare team.
  • Utilize resources effectively to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate educational opportunities for patients and their families.
  • Support the professional development of nursing staff through training initiatives.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent combination of education and relevant nursing experience.
  • Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the State of Missouri.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a related nursing field.
