TDEC is seeking a skilled Knowledge Base Content Manager with a robust understanding of single-family FHA mortgage operations. The ideal candidate will be adept at documenting mortgage policies, procedures, and training materials.

Our organization collaborates with the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), specifically the Office of Single-Family Housing, to fulfill its mission of fostering strong, sustainable, and inclusive communities while providing quality affordable housing for all.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to leverage your FHA expertise. As the Knowledge Base Content Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and relevance of content on HUD's "FHA Knowledge Base Portal," a crucial resource for the mortgage industry and the public regarding housing inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update knowledge base content for HUD and FHA programs to align with current policies and procedures.
  • Conduct audits and verify the accuracy, functionality, and formatting of published knowledge base articles on a quarterly basis.
  • Adhere to deadlines for content updates in response to HUD requests and FHA policy modifications, following established operating procedures.
  • Oversee and delegate tasks to the Knowledge Base Content team, ensuring performance standards are achieved.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of direct experience with Single Family FHA origination policies and procedures.
  • Five years of quality assurance or quality control experience in a call center, mortgage industry, or similar field.
  • Three to five years of experience in the residential mortgage finance sector.
  • Three to five years of management experience in a call center, mortgage industry, or similar environment.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of FHA home mortgage programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and effectively engage with various functional areas.
  • Flexibility to adapt and support changes in systems and processes.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure and manage stress from deadlines and daily operational demands.
  • Detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience in providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Aptitude for analyzing and creating concise knowledge-based articles and training materials.
  • Proficient in managing support staff.
