We are seeking a skilled Brand Ambassador to join our Consumer Health and Wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the current consumer brand, health, and wellness landscape, and topical issues.

The Brand Ambassador will contribute to the creation of communications plans and materials that meet client objectives, manage multiple projects from conception to completion, and build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contribute to the creation of communications plans and materials that meet client objectives
  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
  • Build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels
  • Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content often under tight timelines and with competing priorities
  • Coordinate client touchpoints, helping to set the agenda and provide action-oriented recaps
  • Demonstrate tactical proficiency in media relations, including creating and driving both traditional and social media outreach plans and owning media monitoring needs to identify and draft flags of relevant news
  • Commit to continuous learning and improvement of leadership skills; set and pursue stretch goals
  • Possess a solid understanding of the current consumer brand, health, and wellness landscape, and topical issues
  • Supervise staff junior to you by motivating, coaching, and consistently providing feedback
  • Aid in new business processes including idea contribution, research, and proposal preparation

Basic qualifications include:

  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media, and publishing
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they are used as well as solid research, writing, and editing skills
  • The ability to develop relationships with media and apply experience and initiative in developing traditional and digital media relations strategies
  • Interest/experience in consumer health and wellness is a plus

Salary: $42,000 - $62,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of DJEH's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region-specific benefits.
