We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Supervisor to lead our Residential Fiber Installation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of fiber optic networks in residential areas.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of installation technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Performance Management: Coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of field staff, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate scheduling, assist with daily job routing, and ensure adequate staffing to meet project demands.
- Problem-Solving: Identify problem areas in the department and communicate with the Project Manager to develop and implement solutions.
- Procedure Development: Develop and implement procedures to improve team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Employee Development: Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to technicians, and assist with recruitment and training efforts.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control inspections to ensure compliance with company standards and customer expectations.
- Customer Interface: Interface with customers to resolve complaints and damages resulting from installation work.
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform various field technician duties as needed, including carrying and climbing a ladder when necessary.
- Experience**: Minimum of 1 year of fiber optic or cable installation experience.
- Education**: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Flexibility**: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Communication**: Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Teamwork**: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Driving Record**: Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience and a good driving record.
