Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to provide engineering support to our machining systems, equipment, and personnel at Ryobi Die Casting Inc. in Shelbyville, IN.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in troubleshooting CNC equipment and programs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain process control and preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Document daily program or maintenance changes and improvements using current records.
  • Read and interpret CMM data to make quality judgments or confirm part quality after repairs.
  • Perform basic CNC and fixture repair, and work closely with the Maintenance Department as required.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform special projects and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • General mechanical aptitude and good problem-solving skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a setup person in a machining environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
