Job Overview

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role involves overseeing engineering projects and ensuring the effective management of systems throughout their lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive Parts Obsolescence management, including DMSMS analysis, adhering to DoD SD-22 guidelines.
  • Analyze technical documentation and reports to formulate lifecycle management strategies that support product maintenance and sustainment.
  • Utilize statistical theories and modeling for reliability assessments in compliance with industry standards such as MIL-HDBK-217 and MIL-STD-690.
  • Perform critical analyses including Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA).
  • Develop reliability predictions and conduct Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses.
  • Prepare technical manuals and training materials, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate on requirements development and verification processes for both hardware and software.

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience is required. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with the capability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.


Preferred Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Knowledge of MIL-HDBK-338 and related standards.
  • Experience with US Government airworthiness processes and certification boards.
  • Proficient in tools such as DOORS and Cameo.

Educational Background:

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM field is required. A Master's degree may substitute for two years of engineering experience.
