We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.

As a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of diesel trucks and trailers.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on diesel engines, transmissions, and other critical systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues in diesel engines and other heavy equipment
  • Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including Class 8 diagnostic tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Our ideal candidate will have experience working with Freightliner Tractors and trailers, as well as a strong background in welding and light computer skills.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, based on experience, as well as excellent benefits and a safe work environment.
