Sentara is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Clinical Access Centralized Scheduling Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, addressing eligibility, claim, and payment issues, and providing quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls to effectively address eligibility, claim, and payment issues
- Provide quality service and customer satisfaction through effective communication and education
- Schedule a high volume of procedures for patients in a computerized scheduling system
- Accountable for accurately and completely obtaining required information in the scheduling process
- Responsible for order entry process, communications, guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, and various clerical duties within scope of role
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of Customer Service experience
- Experience with medical insurance in a hospital or physician's office setting preferred
- High Volume call center experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Data entry skills
