Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Edgebrook Estates Apartments. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and preservation of our residential apartment community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including make-ready work and general service orders.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property to identify and report any exterior maintenance issues.
  • Assist in the setup and repair of various systems, including ventilation, refrigeration, and plumbing.
  • Inspect and maintain alarm systems, including fire and protection systems.
  • Perform manual repairs, such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
  • Conduct pest control activities, including spraying insecticide.
  • Perform general upkeep procedures, such as landscaping, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Be available for on-call responsibilities as assigned by the property manager.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywalling, painting, and other related skills.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
  • Good physical condition and strength.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:

$23 per hour. Wages are determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, skill set, and internal equity.
